All the retail outlets in Bengaluru have banned plastic bags and some of them are charging heavily for plastic bags to curb using them by the citizens. The Go-Green organisations have been distributing recycled paper bags which are bio-degradable and less harmful to our planet.

The U.S. Postal Service now offers 'Go Green' postage stamps so you can deliver an environmental message with each card or letter you send. A sheet of postage stamps contains 16 different images, each one a clever reminder to reduce our carbon footprint.
