Bruhut Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike(BBMP) has been running a campaign to ban plastic bag menace requesting residents of Bengaluru to co-operate.One such campaign is published by CityPlus a weekly newspaper of HSR layout,Bengaluru.

Go Green Campaigns of Bengaluru,India & USA!

All the retail outlets in Bengaluru have banned plastic bags and some of them are charging heavily for plastic bags to curb using them by the citizens. The Go-Green organisations have been distributing recycled paper bags which are bio-degradable and less harmful to our planet.
